Eversheds sponsors the World Retail Congress 2015

We are delighted to be sponsoring this year’s World Retail Congress taking place on 8 – 10 September in Rome.
The theme to this year’s Congress is ‘Transformation today, tomorrow and beyond’, key to which for many retailers is international expansion.
We’re sponsoring what promises to be an insightful panel debate with leading figures in the retail sector.
Susan Samuel, Retail Partner at Eversheds, will be joined on the panel by Tobias Wasmuht, MD for SPAR China, and International Retail Director for SPAR International, Franco Manna, President at Group Sebeto – Rossopomodoro and Brendan Dorrian, Personal Envoy to the Chairman & Head of Business Development at Fawaz A. Alhokair & Co., and the panel will be moderatored by Alex Cara, SVP – Group Retail at Pandora.
The panel will debate and discuss how to achieve sustainable international growth by considering the range of challenges including developing strategic plans, choosing the right business model, how to incorporate an omnichannel approach and offering insights from expansion plans.
