Eversheds Sutherland Health and Safety Summer School - complacency
16th July 2019
Every year the HSE finds fault with well-respected, well-resourced, well-intentioned employers who are sanctioned for failing to manage ‘business as usual’ risks. Complacency is one of the most common causes of injuries in compliant organisations. How do you encourage safety engagement in environments where the risks appear low or where there has not been a recent incident?
We are delighted to share details of our upcoming 'H&S Summer School' which is being held in the stunning Worcester College, Oxford on 18 and 19 September. We have some fantastic speakers including Dyson's Global Head of Governance (on ethical compliance), Dr Robert De Boer (on behavioral safety), one of the cave divers involved in the Thai school children rescue and Simon Antrobus QC (a leading UK health and safety barrister). The event has been designed for EHS Directors, senior EHS personnel and Inhouse Counsel. We do hope you can join us.
